Correct me if I’m wrong, but usually one of a few things will happen when attempting to set realistic goals. One possibility is that you stand a real good chance of talking yourself out of a goal that sounds too big for your God given abilities. “I mean He’s still working with me, right? So I couldn’t possibly pull that one off,” you might say. Remember the story of Jesus turning water into wine? Didn’t he tell his mom that it wasn’t his time when she did the mother thing saying, “My son can do anything, follow his instructions?”
